About Us

Camichi Siberians was founded by Dawn and Stephanie in 2007.

Dawn is a dog groomer and a photographer. She is wanting to compete in grooming competitions, pursue becoming a dog trainer, and eventually become a conformation judge. Stephanie works with people with disabilities and looking forward to completing a Master's Degree. Stephanie wants to pursue professional conformation handling, animal therapy for service dogs, website design, and songwriting.

However, this has become more of a family venture including a numerous amount of support from our families.

We live in the country on 17 acres of land in the small town of Buffalo, Missouri. It is quiet yet close to town in the heart of the Midwest. We have all four seasons with the dogs favorite times being the snow in the winter and swimming in the summer.

Our dogs have access to just over three acres of land. It is fenced with six foot high fencing which is a must when owning Siberians.

Both our show Siberians and our pets are spoiled rotten. All are pets first and are members of our family. They participate in dog shows, go to pet stores, visit the grandparents, as well as many other places.

We love to travel and therefore participate in AKC events including conformation two to three times a month.

Our first goal is to educate others about the Siberian Husky breed. If it was not for our mentors we would not be where we are today. We strive to be a source of information, approachable, and there for the life of your new family member. Puppies are AKC registered and are bred from sound parents that are tested clear of eye (CERF registered) and hip (OFA registered) genetic defects before breeding. Camichi Siberians breeds to the AKC standard.

We focus on good temperament, structure, and movement for a well rounded Siberian Husky. Our priority is to provide a family member whether that Siberian Husky is destined for show, work, or companionship.
